The LCD of your Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo GT-I9060 is damaged and you don’t know how to repair it?
Don’t worry! We will explain you the simple steps to “DIY” repair!
What you need:
- Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo LCD
- Plastic opening tools or iSesamo
- A Phillips screwdriver
- Heat gun
Proceed with the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo LCD replacement
Turn off the phone and remove the back cover.
Now, remove the battery, the MicroSD card and SIM card.
Remove all the screws from the back of your device.
With a plastic tool or iSesamo, remove the middle frame.
We disconnect all the flat shown in the following photo, remove the motherboard screw and pull it out.
Disconnect the touch screen connectors. We remove the small plastic clip that is near the flat so that it can be pulled out later.
With a heat gun (or hair dryer), heat the touch screen. The heat, makes the adhesive easier to remove. Now, insert a plastic tool and raise the glass. If it’s too hard to remove, heat again the area. Anyway, be patient and gentle. BEWARE the menu and back buttons. Before removing the touch screen, make sure that they are not attached to it. You may help with a plastic tool to unstick them without damaging the flat.
After removing the touch screen, heat the LCD and let you help with a tool to tear out the display.
Apply some new biadhesive and re-assemble the device!
