The touch screen of your Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 is damaged and you don’t know how to repair it?
Don’t worry! We will explain you the simple steps to “DIY” repair!
What do you need:
- Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 touch screen
- Plastic opening tools
- Heat gun
- Phillips screwdriver

Turn off the device and remove the back cover.
Now, remove the battery, the MicroSD and SIM cards.
Use a phillips screwdriver to remove all screws.
With a plastic tool, remove the middle frame.
Disconnect the flats showened in the pictures. Next, remove the screw that holds the motherboard.
Remove the mainboard.
Heat the touch screen for 5-10 minutes with a hot air gun. Insert a plastic tool to remove the touch screen. If it’s too hard to remove, heat again the area.
Go on with the removal of the touch screen, taking care of the Menu and Back soft keys. Help with a tool to unstick them from the old touch screen without damaging them. Put aside the Home button that must be placed again before reassembling the device.
Connect the new touch screen. Recover the rubber from the old touch and reassemble the device.
Done! Now your Samsung will look like a brand new phone!!
